Double Tap That: Five To Follow

Hey ya’ll,

I can’t lie, but right now I am loving Instagram, it’s my favourite app to scroll through, which is probably why I’ve been neglecting this blogπŸ™ˆ. Only God know how many times I scroll through Instagram a day, but I just can’t resist exploring amazing images and finding new people to follow.

Now I know there’s been a lot of controversy about Instas ever-changing and very annoying algorithms, like-bots, spam comments and all that malarkey, but let’s face it, we all love to double-tap that…

With Instagram being a MainStage for Influencers and bloggers to become recognised or as we all like to say – Instafamous, I’ve got more than a few favourites that I’d like to share, so let me show some love to…

I’m back on my 3-4 times a week gym grind and as you may imagine, it’s way too easy to fall off, especially with all these food snaps. Nevertheless, I love searching hashtags like #fitness to keep me on the straight and narrow to achieving my body goals, but one person I always look to is Chanel. She is all types of body goals and I love that she takes us on her fitness journey that she has perfectly made her lifestyle, she’s the ultimate motivation for me, plus I love her clean and feminine feed.

Lean Greens Unboxing & First Impressions

If you’ve read my post about some of my recent lifestyle changesΒ and keep up with me on Twitter, you will know that I’ve been in the gym, trying to get my waist right and thighs tight -the right way!

In the past I’ve been about some crazy and unrealistic fad diets, juicing and extreme workouts. While these may have given brilliant results, the amount of prep and planning that goes into it, I just didn’t last. It was just an unrealistic way to loose weight.

As a person I know that I can change my physique quickly, which is my downfall as I’m hella lazy and know that I can do it later…Β that old chestnut!

Although I go to the gym 2-3 times a week, I still suffer from uncomfortable bloating which I feel is down to my diet, which is where Lean Greens come in…

Lean Greens 2

Last week I was sent a special package from Lean Greens! I previously saw their product through the Bloggers Hangout and knew I needed to try it.

Lean greens is one of the UK’s leading green powders that are designed to help with reducing bloating, killing cravings, naturally increasing energy and cleaning up the health of the gut.

Lean Greens is the daily nutritional supplement that everyone can benefit from.

To be completely honest, I was really dubious to try Lean Greens, but after reading plenty of reviews and researching what goes into their green powders I grew confident on what it could do for me. All the ingredients were natural and contained properties that would help in areas my body needed an extra boost in – like energy!

Once I started the shakes, I began to receive daily emails from Tim, which were so motivational and witty – no one likes a boring email. They included tips and pointers on how to stay on the straight and narrow, great articles and funny anecdotes, perfect for days when your struggling, or would risk it all for a chocolate biscuit!

I was gifted their starter pack, which included the Lean Greens Shaker and the Lean Greens Powder worth Β£49.99.

The shaker had so many compartments, but I was sent a helpful video on how to use it.

Once that was all sorted, I tried the shake. The powder had a light green colour and had a faint smell of green tea – which pre- warned me how the actual shake would taste.

On the powder tub, it gave instructions on how to take the shake. Fill a glass on cold water (the colder the better, in terms of taste), add a heaped spoon of green powder, shake well and drink immediately – and that’s exactly what I did.

The colour of the shake was a bit off-putting as it was a dark green, however, the taste was similar to green tea with a subtle hint of vegetables, more specifically, broccoli. The shake wasn’t as offensive as I thought it would be, from its initial smell, but the only way I can describe it was like normal water with an after taste of green tea lol.

The taste isn’t great, but not horrible either – it just takes some getting used to, but after doing more research on how I can drink this supplement, I found that I could mix the powder in with a home made fruit smoothie, and still enjoy all the benefits of the powder – so it’s totally versatile, and great for any taste palette.

After I had the shake, there weren’t any immediate effects, but I did notice I didn’t get as tired and fatiguedΒ throughout the dayΒ as I would normally (I’m one of those people who struggle to keep their eyes open at my desk at work) – and I think this is down to the active ingredient of Spirulina and Chlorella, which helps boost energy.

So far, I’ve used the shake every other day, but I’ll continue to use the shakes every day in the next week and give you another update – hopefully, I’ll notice an end to my bloating.

Have you tried any Lean Greens product, what do you think of their products?
